Cattle and Bison

The Committee on Cattle and Bison has evolved from the previous Committee on Infectious Diseases of Cattle, Bison and Camelids.  This committee is now a parent committee for Brucellosis, Cattle Identification, and Tuberculosis in addition to the existing subcommittees of BVDv and Trichomoniasis.  The Camelid sector has been moved to the Committee on Sheep, Goats and Camelids.

The purpose of the Committee on Cattle and Bison is to provide a national forum for discussions by committee members and other interested individuals on the current status of infectious diseases of cattle and bison, and to recommend action to eliminate or minimize their adverse effect on the U.S. animal industry or the ecosystem.
