Committee on Swine

The purpose of the Committee on Swine is to review status of knowledge on recognized transmissible diseases of swine with emphasis on recent new research results; to monitor emerging new diseases and keep membership advised as to the potential effect on the swine industry; to work with other committees on problems of mutual concern; and to make recommendations concerning swine diseases such as, but not limited to, research needs, control and eradication, regulations, and producer and consumer education.
