Committee On Transmissible Diseases Of Swine

The purpose of the Committee on Transmissible Diseases of Swine is to review status of knowledge on recognized transmissible diseases of swine with emphasis on recent new research results; to monitor emerging new diseases and keep membership advised as to the potential effect on the swine industry; to work with other committees on problems of mutual concern; and to make recommendations concerning swine diseases such as, but not limited to, research needs, control and eradication, regulations, and producer and consumer education.
